Michigan Saves has collaborated with Oakland County for the
Oakland SAVES (Simple Actions for Valuable Energy Savings)
grant program set to launch on 01.22.2024. Utilizing $5 million from the American Rescue Plan Act, Oakland County aims to offer grant incentives for low-income homeowners. The initiative aims to alleviate energy burdens and promote energy efficiency in residential properties.

The Oakland SAVES program is open to all Oakland County homeowners through a tiered system based on income level. You must provide proof of income by submitting a 2022 federal 1040 tax form.

Please refer to michigansaves.org/oaklandsaves to learn more about the application requirements. Applications for the Oakland SAVES grant program will open January 22, 2024 and will get and be available through December 31, 2024 or until funds are exhausted.
